Outside Beyond any words Seeing me you give That unusually Happy smile And wave a hand As you pass by Women seem For reasons All their own To defy what men Consider wisdom Born of time— As if no matter How many winters Have come and gone It’s always spring So I no longer know What to make of you Venus Juno Or secret virago Yet at this distance What can be the harm The grass is green The city streets’ lilacs Are in bloom I notice silently once again You’ve changed the color Of your hair . |

"Yet at this distance What can be the harm" ...I think the answer is in the asking...my humble opinion is yes, there can be harm at any distance (and perhaps more harm in the greater distance) |
