Fusion

***

Whatever direction I take
my steps are synchronized
with my heart’s intuition.
They steer me closer to you,
closer to the final destination,
right into your open arms,
where our lips will seal
in an immortal kiss of bliss.

I lean in full trust
into the winds of destiny
which gently push me forwards
upon the heavenly paths
where your strokes of wings
raise magic clouds of stardust,
sticking like instant glue
to my shimmer thirsty skin.

Crazy love particles twirl
through the dark night sky
with only one vital desire
displayed in flashing signals
in the mirrors of your eyes:
“wait not, just light my fire!”

Upon our successful collision
we collapse into a wild free fall.
In willing capitulation
to nature’s compelling call
we blaze through space
in deep eternal fusion,
as if on a bright comet’s trail,
melting the ice of ages
in the furnace of our sun souls.

Wow.....and I rarely say that!! *s*
I love how the poem moves so confidently to it's destination...

we blaze through space
in deep eternal fusion,
as if on a bright comet’s trail,
melting the ice of ages

remarkable Marherita, the poem took me and didn't let me go until I read it...Fusion is a well orchestred metaphor with brilliant images and deep thoughts...A very enjoyable read.

Awww, Maga Margherita, yet another fine cosmic love post which is a feast for the eyes, heart ~ and soul...

"Whatever direction I take
my steps are synchronized
with my heart’s intuition."

How you manage to keep coming up with these beauties, I'll never know! ~ Oh, but on second thought, I truly do know!

Love you, sister spirit!

Dear Margherita - I can't help but think if only, if only it was on earth as it is in Margherita's words but maybe we won't appreciate "immortal bliss" without this earthly experience.  It's like going on holiday - always appreciate home more on the return.  Of course, I loved your poem!

Yo dear Margherita,

This is very nice.  However, it did take me back to my Army Special Weapons days.
