snakeback dirty, doing thirty three
lazy in sun on the belly eating afternoon
like small birds in glue foot easy

those metal men ride the serpentine
and I lean on dead eyed stones with souls
and draw poems in a dry mouth sky

blond eye girl says the leather man
drinks his jack with no ice cubes
so he can dip his cigar in the blood

then paint a smile on his grinless grin
while he thinks of the pretty one in garters
drawing the string of another man's bow

and never giving him back his aired oh's

33 is a real curvy highway up through the mountains from the ocean to the inland central valley..metal men are the scooter trash that ride it on weekends..etc

I think there's a good chance the garter girl uses something for a release aid when she draws those strings.
