Bones lives in the hood.

The hood is not always
an ideal place to live.

The hood is hungry,
hungry all the time.

Bones has his tongue
hanging out,
like just about everyone
else in the hood.

Kids in the hood
don’t always get fed
like they should.

It’s kind of an off
and on thing.

Some people don’t want
their young
to know about the hood.

They’d like to protect them
from knowledge of the hood.

They are firm believers
in the old
“ignorance is bliss”
adage.

They're wrong.

Bobby

Yep, reality shouldn't be disguised through rose colored glasses.
Bones has learned to be heads up but still knows he's gonna go hungry sometimes.

Thanks Eric,

What you say is probably true.  It's been a while since Bones visited his last garbage can for dinner.  He's been lucky that way.
