Comfort me not oh friend of woe.
I have had your embrace
once upon a many moon.

Tarry me no more this dark night,
eyes close upon your foreboding.
With morning's light I may wake soon.

Given unto me your wares
of grieving promise facade.
Tear streaked pillows clutched in hand.

Hope is my embrace of the morning.
Let go of me wings of demons,
patronize my life's longing no more.

I breathe the dawning day of release
within my grasp.
With the rising sun, I cry no more.

Beautifully expressed! We should try to close our eyes in the evening keeping the morning's beauty in our thoughts and let the demons with empty hands.

Love,
Margherita

Margherita;

Thanks so much! I have to practice closing my eyes quite a bit lately, at least the dawn keeps them open for a spell.
