Glade in Twilight

As the twilight fades in the sudden mist of the glade
a peace descends on the wooded pathway
all life ceases to exist as if times heart has stopped beating
the throng of travellers that pass this way
fade into the distance
leaving the glade to it’s natural glow and beauty,

a world of discovery awaits those that dare walk here
a world of imagination, wonder, and painting,
all mixed with the colours of a rainbow
inside eager eyes are awaiting,

The brave few who join in with the crowd
have the knowledge of the wonders that are displayed
all life cesses to exists
on the outside of the magical glade

Thank you! I went on a walk like this and the poem was inspired by that
