When sleep eludes I tend to ponder why words allude and time we squander curious desire to meet and inquire why thoughts of you lead my mind to wander ------------------------------------------------ A quick story I was at a local music show with my room mate and friends. I saw a beautiful girl that I instantly knew I had to meet. I tried working up the courage but her beauty drank it all. Luckily it turned out that she was very good friends with my room mates girlfriend. I got her number and called her. To my dismay she was leaving for college three states away the following week. We never got to talk really. Well its been just shy of a year and she e-mailed me a couple weeks ago and told me she was coming home. We exchanged facebook accounts and began to small talk. Our similarities are uncanny! Well, she came home today! I wanted to do something unique to break the ice. So during my sleepless hours I whipped up this little limerick. Hopefully she feels the same! I'll let everyone know when she replies!  |
