she cried when I said I was going to jail
but smiled when I said it was to pick up mom
for fighting again at senior's bingo

she cried when I said I was married
but smiled when I told her how many times
and when the last one was over with

she cried when I said I had been abused
for mostly nearly all of my life
but smiled when I said I did it myself often

she cried when I said I was not into girls
but smiled when I said I did enjoy women
long as they were full grown and moaning

she cried when I said I only slept alone
but smiled when I said I would be awake all night
if she wouldn't mind following me home

she cried when I said it was nearly morning
but smiled when I kissed her eyes
and pulled the shades completely closed

and said I hoped she wasn't yet too tired

You are so bad yer good.

Now MARCH, young man, to the weeping willow, and cut me a "switch".

Then be gentle with me?

"long as they were full grown and moaning"
The best kind of woman right?

This was a great, fun read.

I love the topsy-turvy journey through tears and cheers (okay... smiles... but you know I have to rhyme, right? LOL)... who could ever tire of such perfection? *S*

I hate to admit this, or spoil it for future readings, But I can honestly say "I understood every word you wrote",
Now that's scary.

I also enjoyed every word of this, so clever poem.

Very nice.
Tracey.

This shows how good you are in drying tears, though I bet you have caused some too (when it is over!)! It sounds different in a way, but it captivates strongly as usual.

Missed reading you.

Love,
Margherita
