Even though, my dearest, even though
Dense is the night and silence all I know,
Watchfully I wait and in the darkness speak
Aloud to you in yearning, and so to seek
Rapture in a dream! May God decree
Deep in your heart you answer me!

Rex - This has a lyrical compelling flow that grabs the reader. Only the hand of the poet can reach like that. Very nicely done Rex. Namyh

"Dense is the night and silence all I know,
Watchfully I wait and in the darkness speak"

~ In the still of the night ~ You expressed it very well! ... Enjoying this meditative moment.

"Rapture in a dream!" ~ May the answer be "Yes!"
