He Is the Resurrection and the Life

I wonder how Jesus felt,
the thoughts going through his mind,
knowing the fate that was His destiny,
knowing He would die on a cross at Calvary,
and yet though His mother was of this earth
His Father was the God of Heaven and Earth.
He was the only Son of a Heavenly Father
and an earthy mother.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whosoever believth in Him should
not perish but have everlasting life."...John 3:16

A son that at one point on the Cross would
say "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is "My God,
My God, why have You forsaken Me?"...Matthew
27:46.   A son that would take on the sins of the
world for you and for me.

Still this was a price He was willing to pay
to save mankind from the consequences of sin.
Because of Gods love we don't have to be
separated from God, because of the obedience
of Jesus, because of Calvary.

"That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus Christ and believe in your heart God has
raised Him from the dead, you will be
saved."...Romans 10:9 & 10.

For insight read "A Doctor at Calvary"...Pierre Barbet M.D.

The poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge regarded
the Book of Romans as "the most profound book in
existence." and the commentator Godet called
it "the cathedral of the Christian faith."

In His heart there was so much pain, yet so much love too. He suffered like a human, though He was not of this world. True man, true God. We are safe and ever so blessed by His immeasurable love.

Thank you for this, dear James.

Love,
Margherita
