I would always imagine you that way
topless or at least convertible comfortable
and the sun making those smiles you get

when the warm feels better than his touch
although you say he loves you sometimes
noticeably for the reasons of possession

we played with the sound of each other hands
lacing fingers between the other's
like they were long legged people dancing

we thought of some other things too
and said we should do them sometime soon
before our hands got too tired to hold on

you wanted to take a nap and wondered
if I would mind you sleeping alone that way
and I wondered if you being in my dreams

still met the qualification of being alone
you smiled and handed me some of your love words
but said you would want them all back again later

along with some of mine with additional interest

Osprey, thanks for the read. They say when I get to 10K, I will have used up all my words and thoughts and my pen will become quiet..perhaps it will be a blessing.

beautiful imagery. It makes one think they
are right there, in a very special place.

Kudos.

Oh this is my absolute favorite of yours!  I loved this part, as I am sure more than one person has felt this, and you captured it so well.

when the warm feels better than his touch
although you say he loves you sometimes
noticeably for the reasons of possession

Mmmm... Dark??? You do know we're gonna reset the counter on you, right? LOL Can't have you getting to 10000 if you think that's your pass out of writing wonderful poems! *S*

I wondered if you being in my dreams

still met the qualification of being alone
you smiled and handed me some of your love words
but said you would want them all back again later

along with some of mine with additional interest

For words like this, I'd put you back at junior member status in a heartbeat. *G* Fantastic!!

You know, there is something really sensous about napping with someone special.  I didn't just capture that thought in this poem, but that one danced above my head.  I carry special moments in my naps.

One of those that make me almost squeak in pleasure! Must have been busy when you posted this. Happy that I found it!

What's that talking about the limit of 10.000? May the river of dreams never dry out! I just know it will not dry out, period.

Think of the books!

Love,
Margherita
