If blood be life,
If life be breath
Inspired in strife,
'Fore gentle death.

The many cares
That scoured my hands,
Rememb'rance bears
The timeless sands.

And lost in woe
At break of day,
My love she'll know;
A rose I'll lay.

Suncleaver - I found this writing to flow gracefully when reading. Nicely done...

I read this a few times, and it sounded really great aloud. Enjoyed!

My heart aches for yours as you remember her...
