maybe it was the widow's window of her eyes
glass with tears that seemed to never dry
or perhaps just my handy man adultery
that she caught her pretty skirt on
when crossing the parking lot to nowhere

the timing was right for lovers to blend
even though we wondered about the right words
it seemed the fit of things was better for both
and if some healing came out of it, well
any cure for the ache is better then pain

so we played our fistful of quarters songs
that made us press our shadows into one
and we tasted the residue of each other's smile
wondering how it would be to keep them there
always on the other one's face, or could we

I remember she moaned with her eyes sometimes
I could hear the sound over a salad at the bakery
and she would say it was nothing really
but I felt it too and wanted even more of her
we took our time walking back to that parking lot

looking for where we could just start all over again

palm treed parking lots
where his words pulled like the tide;
salty and endless.

What is wishbone whiskey?
I love the sound of it.

I read this and realize you're bad. I think it took you some time to train yourself but then it was like an avalanche.

Can't help yourself, don't worry, I'm here to help you. Make sure you play all the chords in the same key and it will work out well for you.

So having said all of that, how do you get adultery into the widow idea? Hey, I'm just curious.

This I loved
"I remember she moaned with her eyes sometimes"
I've seen/heard that.

You're a smart dude and I love to see you having this much fun.

Take care

Eric

I can't pick a favorite part... I can only slip it into my library to enjoy again and again... and applaud as I do so. *S*

Magnificent!

Eric..thanks guy, wishbone whiskey...well, there is an old style Harley frame called the wishbone style..long legged women are also called wishbones and the whiskey part I am sure have figured out by now...

widow adultery?  when a relationship dies it leaves a widow even though the paperwork and the church don't see it that way..
