I think you romantics will like this one.

The Great Romance
by
Heather L. Baker

The Great Romance,
goes across the land,
traveling across the sea.

The Great Romance
resides in each one of us
even as we look at a dirty pictures
or read a raunchy book.

We are always reminded that the Great Romance
isn't about being alone.
It's about finding that person

That completes you
That you want to love you
That you love to touch.

It's about them
loving you
making love to you with the lights on

It's about them
wanting you
not abusing you

It's about looking into their eyes
and realizing that you are the only one
that they allow themselves to love

The Great Romance
knows no bounderies
you can love

Almost anyone
You can become
the perfect lover

If only you believed
in love.
In the Great Romance

Because none of us
want to be alone
All of us

Wants arms to hold us
And lips to kiss us
For someone to lay us down.

All life long
The Great Romance
Spurrs.
