Hunting.

Call of the wind on the desert sand,
The flash of life in the eyes,
Hot breath of the wolf searching,
Hiding to survive

Slinking around in the undergrowth,
Waiting till the time is right,
Using all their ability,
Searching through the night,

Like spirits they are invisible,
They hide from the brightness of the day,
Keeping all their mystery hidden,
Not giving there souls away,

They hunt within the silence,
Only moving to close in on there prey,
The magic of the pack is hunting,
Until the dawning of the day,

Annie

No doubt the wolves are fascinating creatures and for their preys, very frightening too.

Well done, dear Annie.

Hey, Annie, I enjoyed this one.  The feel was primordial, and it brought to mind the magnificence of nature.  Yes, your spelling needs work.  You have 'there' for the possessive 'their' throughout the poem, and it should be 'prey', not 'pray'.  'pray' is what you do when you give the blessing before eating your 'prey'.     Other than that, the poem seemed faultless to me.

Yo dear Annie,

This is a very good description of wolves.  Wolves efficiently go about their business.

Anniepimm - I was pleasently surprised when I opened this writing, as I enjoyed reading it. And, a German Shepard/Wolf just joined me, and he's a treat. Three months out and has a lot of traits of a Wolf...

Sereously, this one is one of the best poems i've ever read, allmost that of Edgar Allen poe...well..almost but not his syle, but sereously i like how you wrote your poem, its soo...i dont know how to put my finger on, but it was awesome. I love poems like these, gives you a sense of either being there or you are the character and you can picture the scenery, i love peoms like that.
Keep it up, you are good. ^_^
