I know that love is mere' her scent
It lingered there when I awoke
As into love's warm-breast ascent
I replayed every word she spoke.
For every second that we spent
No other could such joy evoke

Great artists' dreams could not enhance
Her beauty in that black shift dress
When gifted of her claiming glance
No ounce of love could I suppress.
So know that I will ever dance
In her undying tenderness

The softness of her inner thighs
The fruits of love that tantalize
My whispered name on entry sighs
Sweet rapture touched, no compromise.
Those melting sapphires in her eyes
That's love, I've come to realise

This is truly elegant.

(and um, I'd say "don't go"--but I respect that if you feel the need, okay. But send postcards, k?)

Hello Osprey, you are a very good poet and this one was no exception. The meter and

rhyming were a delight to read.
Take care my friend and keep up the good work.
