Uncle Joe took Bones
to see Bones daddy
where Bones daddy
was locked up.

Bones daddy
was peeling potatoes.

Bones daddy
asked if Bones
had been to prison yet.

Uncle Joe said,
no,
Bones
has not been to prison.

That made Bones daddy happy,
and Bones was proud of that.

Tough way to see Daddy but much better than not seeing him at all.
Very touching story.

Thanks Eric,

It was good to see him.  The next time Bones met his daddy was the night his daddy died.  Daddy got to meet Bones oldest daughter that visit.

Not the best way to meet your father, but I'm glad that they were happy to see each other.

Although the experience must have been frightening for young Bones and raised questions in his mind.

When I see your face all the angels are shamed.

At least the Dad wanted something better for Bones.

Glad to hear Bones broke the cycle. I'm sure his Dad was thrilled to meet his granddaughter. My Dad never knew my children or my brothers.

I'm proud of Bones. :-)

Thanks dear Suncleaver,

No, it wasn't frightening for Bones.  He felt secure, and was happy to see his father, and make his father proud.

Thanks dear Angellea,

Yes, Bones was lucky to break the cycle.  Believe me, it was luck that he did, pure luck.

Bones had many close calls.

Bones is proud of you too dear.

Love Bones/Bobby
