The tide is high,
lucky tide,
smell is clear and strong
deep ocean smell,
scent of planet life;
times like these I almost feel welcome here,
like resting my head
on warm skin
the soft belly of a fertile woman
more than willing,
scent of life
yearning to share,
it warms my soul;
still
this tidal air is cold
from northern deep Atlantic
where Winter is more than just a memory.

My gardens murmur gentle mists
in ghostly light
onto tongues of ocean's breath
saying,
"Take me now; I am not afraid.
I am here,
use me for my heat
make me yield,
I will help you to remember
how we used to dance
before humans rose to interfere."

In this early mingled air
surrounded by Spring tide,
Moon of Winds gone from sky
its baleful eye on other lives than mine,
surveying others' tears and joys,
now too dark to see the ancient river
I feel it thick with storm detritus
brought by sea,
child proud
to share its treasures and its toys
for free.

When I read you it is the combination of meditation, intellectual stimulation and what I would call a holistic orgasm.

Nothing more soothing, satisfying and pure.

This is a definite library keeper. The thoughts and the presentation are pure art.
Thank you, for this ethereal beauty.

most fine imagery such as:

“My gardens murmur gentle mists
  in ghostly light
  onto tongues of ocean's breath…”

I am especially fond of the very beginning!:

“The tide is high,
  lucky tide,
  smell is clear and strong
  deep ocean smell,
  scent of planet life;
  times like these I almost feel welcome here,..”

MUCH sustained applause for this ‘penning’ !!

A facinating poem of "A Walking Early Morning without sleep" with which I am well aquainted.
