Bones can never forget
seeing a kid from the hood
lying on the pavement,
all shot up and bleeding.  

The sight of that kid’s
red blood on the pavement
really got to him.  

Bones never carried any
lessons away from the scene,
why should he.

True Bobby, why should he.
Still a traumatic happening in a young man's life. Has to affect him like so many other things.

I'm pleased you agree.  In our hood, that could happen to anyone.  We seem to lose a young person that way about every two years.
