Waiting for you

The promise arched dully across the sky

Bowed colours now grey

No triumphant arch

This

No birds sailed through

No clouds gathered at its portals

Green mists swirled aimlessly

Lost without a mission

Like me

Until he returns.

How long must I wait.Endlessly.

Even the plums know that when their time is ripe they will fall.

When will the shroud lift  for me.

"Even the plums know that when their time is ripe they will fall."

Profound truth. A write to read again.

"Even the plums know that when their time is ripe they will fall."

~ Words that I will not soon forget... ~ Softly spoken and with much wisdom.
