silence

peaceful and pleasant, a salve for the soul
obliterates cares, leaves one feeling whole
tension defuses,  faith and hope increase
lack of noise can allow troubles' surcease

but

atmosphere pregnant, angry words unsaid
hang heavy, surrounding with sense of dread
breath constricted from fearing what may be
I'm cowering in lonely misery

then

my whole world tilts to never be the same
for you finally speak... and say her name

ms ruth..those lookback glasses are always the ones with the scratches, your tomorrow eyes are lovely without them, always end your glances with a tomorrow window?  enjoyed this ms

This touches the heart, dear Ruth. It has great impact.
The silence is broken, but in that very moment a new panorama opens and will help you out of this pain.

Love,
Margherita

DS: Scratched view or not, I'm always looking back... if only to resurrect the chestnuts I've written? LOL Thank you so much, my friend. *S*

Margherita: Thank you so much, dear lady... This is old and I'm fine... new panoramas did unfold. *S*

ethome: You've just made my day. *S* For I actually rewrote the ending to be more upbeat... and hated it, so went back to the original moan. *S* Thank you very much! *S*

Lindsay: I'm glad you did... thank you so much! *S*

Egads! I suppose "silence is golden" afterall!

That faux pas was detrimental to his happiness, as well!!!

Love 'n a warm hug,

Oh, oh oh.  A tilt, a tumble, a smash into pieces.  It started out so fine, and it brought me down.  Well done.

This one packs a whallop.  Thank you for sharing it - a whallop is always good for dreamers like me.

You don't look pregnant in your photo
guess you're OK now.

Didn't expect the ending.
I agree silence is golden.

Alison: But no matter how many bruises we accrue, we dream again... and will as long as we breathe. *S* Thank you so much, dear friend... I always love your comments! *S*

Kethry: ROFLMAO @ drunken pony... if only I could put a RESPONSE into my library!! LOL I hope you enjoyed the ride, my friend... thank you for the grins!  *S*

PS: There's this little thing called lack of ambition... and that's the lack I'll ADMIT! LOL Thank you so much!! *S*

critical mass: I don't have a clue how to answer that... so I'll just say... thank you for reading. *S*
