Mischievous Botheration

Trouble:
an innocuous combination of letters
sits patiently
with its four consonants and three vowels
waiting, watching with mirth
for its definition to become reality.

Reality:
substance of human vision
wavers obscurely
before wide eyes of variant colors
floating out of a subconscious realm
into timeless epoch.

Epoch:
age of ageless interpretation
watches silently
with resignation of ancient portions
glowering, scowling with narrowed intensity
at trouble unfolding.

Four consonants and three vowels -
an innocuous character?? Bah!
Thumbing its nose at reality and epoch,
trouble dances into tomorrow
with wild abandon!

Annoyance.

In just two days, tomorrow will be yesterday!

Yo dear Quiet Waters,

Yes, "Epoch" is annoying because it doesn't have the required consonants and vowels.

Love Bobby

Thanks to all of you for the welcomes and thoughts!  I am an eclectic personality who loves abstract art, so most of my writings tend to drift into an eclectic abstract as well.  Usually the outcome is a "word picture".  Sometimes people "get it" and other times they don't.  That's the challenge for me, writing so that the reader "sees it AND gets it" !

Thanks again everyone!

So Bobby... what is the requirement for S3 as you see it?  *grin*

While watching "Amazing Race" on Sunday I was intrigued by the required task that the competitors had to complete by having their picture taken with a tiger whose handler had only one arm... I guess there isn't a steadfast rule that a tiger handler must have two arms...

Apparently "Epoch" fulfilled it's desired effect - troublemaker!  *smile*

Thanks for the comment!
