The One He Adores

Twas another spring like day on
the island of Hawaii known as Oahu.

Butterflys were busy flying
from flower to flower.

Bees were busy polinating
fiona and flora hour upon hour.

The rain was depositing wet kisses
upon mountain, valley, City and beaches.

Strong trade winds upon the Pali were blowing hats
from tourists heads with no one keeping tally.

Surfers were riding rolling waves to shore
upon the beauty of the North Shore.

And James was calling his girlfriend in Chicago
to tell her she's the one he adores.

Wonderful imagery, dear James! I deeply enjoyed this poem so full of grace and beauty.

Is that a Hawaiian breeze that just caressed my cheeks?

Love,
Margherita
