I like to think heaven
in it's purest form
is weightless
like the breath we breathe
sustains us.

Where we soar with the wind
on a wing and prayer
caressing the hearts of those we love
drifting above the clouds
destined to be.

Over high seas
misting the salt in our tears
with a deep sigh
that goes beyond the missing
those feelings never waver.

Surrounded by beauty
in our endless journey
the world spins
and our spirit glides over mountain tops
love changes things and completes us.

We are never alone at days end
embracing the world we have known
we move past the pain
in slow motionless strides
along the edge of a lifetime.

Darkness is short lived
for the shadows of light
cast against sunset cliffs
cascade in transparent ribbons
gracing every beat of our heart.

Touched by the stars that fall
adorning an angels halo
we become one with natures stream
forging paths around the sun
we greet the dawn

and find our peace within.

Outstanding! Tucking this serene beauty into my library, as a spirit-booster on 'down' days.
