Fingers playing soul notes

*

No purer water
than your river of life
will ever cross my forest.
With every kiss
you carry buckets
of milk and honey
and pour them
over my thirsty valleys
and lonely hills.

I remember
your fingerprints
from ages ago,
when we were dressed
in white innocence
on other shores of bliss.
Where the stars
shone brighter
than anywhere else.

Deep desire
traveled across time
and space
to manifest once again.
Now your eyes
flash a secret code
into my consciousness.
The keynote message
pierces my caution
and dissolves
my shyness.

I let my emotions
somersault
on the lawn of your
enchantment
and come to a halt
right there
where you wait
for my fingers
to touch your soul.

Where our oceans
flow into each other
and where the sun
plays with the stitch less
seam marking it
with diamonds,
as a reminder
of what this love
offers the sky
when it is bold enough
to express its
full potential,

no less than
divine perfection.

Exquisite.

You make diamonds appear dull dressing my ears with such finery as this.
