we were dizzy lust
and low smolder embers
uttering gooseflesh
to jealous the bards
we swore by deep night murmuring
riding rivers of our sighs
gifting perfumed script
to blush the white
of our sheets
you said that you saw angels, too
and I never minded
the climb of you
or the tangle of your vines
lilting warm into your gentle
to pool the oceans
of our eyes

our stars turned corners
and bruised our heels
lingering in strange doorways
once, our circles made us

only who will moan me now

This is about as poetic as I have ever read sensual. Those metaphorical gems are bursting with fresh ideas of illustration.

Linger, yes, indeed. I did when I read this.

Nice

Only who will moan me now.

Wish I had thought of that line.
