Primal Instincts are fulfilled far more frequently when the left brain is left out
Critical thinking coated in cigarette smoke and perfectly chilled perspirating pop top beverages
Art flies in forms of bodies connecting while thick teacher taught textbooks tumble towards the toes of the bed
Music, Laughter, and good spirits lay equations to rest

Vocabulary is re-invented with words you could never learn in a class
Magic moments make minds maneuver outside of the box made of square facts
And turn that box into radical reflective phosphorescent plexiglass
History is amended with a personal picture attached
Candid Camera snap shots of you rolling on the floor while you fervently laughed
Stripped of self conscious ideals only feeling what you feel and acting how you want to act

The Crafty Conscious creators of full bodied beauty through precisely practiced passion
Are forced to sacrifice
A small piece of their mind, some safe sanity from their eyes
To lay out living breathing maps, with human hearts for legends
To help lifes logistic learners understand lifes less logistic lessons

So three cheers for our heartfelt dedication
To traveling to isolated islands of our minds uncharted
Through the pain, the insane, and the projects we never started
The rain, the mundane, and loved ones departed
Through our veins, to our brains carved deep into our cartilage
We’ve grown and developed into entities of empathy,
which may be the hardest
But that is the life, the life of an artist

Yes, it is sometimes a lonely place, the artistic mind, but worth immersing yourself into daily.

Your fascinating take on the life of an artist, had great "impact" on this artist!

The right side of your brain is apparently alive and well!

I very much enjoyed the read!

for days i havent been able to leave it,yet felt too inadequate to comment
you have described my life  right down to the text book strewn bedroom floor.

Yo Impact,

The idea is there.  It just needs a little polish.
