Spring’s Debut
by Linda L. Dowd

With the rising of the sap in spring,
buds burgeon on the trees.
Nature is awakening,
with the melt of winter freeze.

There’s an air of expectancy,
as life begins anew.
We bid farewell to winter months,
and welcome spring’s debut.

Even an old bear like me starts thinking about stretching and shaking off some of the dust she's accumulated. LOL

Beautiful poem and picture, sweet lady! *S*

Spring has a way of turning us on, spiritualy and physicaly.
Gotta love Spring.

Hi Linda~
Your writing is always a breath of fresh air,
and this is such a pretty poetic little bouquet you wrote.

Ohhhh, I LOVE spring!  Welcome, welcome indeed!  It's debut has definately begun here in Ontario Linda. Things are beginning to pop out of the ground that I never knew existed, lol. I'm in a new home and get to discover what pops up this spring, lol!  It's like one big surprise!  Enjoyed this. Wonderful to read you.

Best wishes and hugs,

Your beautiful words will surely herald spring's coming dear Linda.

Although I was surprised to read some of your ahem... more adult poems.

Who would have thought our sweet Earth Angel could be such a temptress :p

A chorus of agony from heaven and rain poured in a colossus of angel's tears.

It's a comin'! It's a comin'! I can smell Spring in the air! So many of us have had to
endure a long, hard winter! It's time Old Man Winter went beddy-byes and allowed Lady Spring to rise and shine!

A spring-y hug is on its way to you!

Well bless your sweet soul. With God as my winess, I had just been thinking of you prior to my reading your wonderful reply!
Yes, here in Ontario Mother Nature is Spring-ing into action, so to speak! lol

I know exactly how you feel about the discovery of things popping up in the gardens of a new home! A few years back, I too, experienced the joy and air of expectancy each glorious Spring ~ and summer ~ and fall day! The surprises just kept on coming and coming!

It really was nice to hear from you!

Sending you a very warm, Spring hug 'n a broad smile,
