February’s snow was flat
No shadows accentuated the drifts
March snow is virginal dress white
Almost painful to behold

I know what you mean, dear Alison!

Wonderful perception and I love your interpretation and association with "brides of March".

It's strange to think of snow when I'm already having to run my AC and flowers fill the forests and brighten the corners of a dull downtown. *S*
Your words give me shivers... not just from thoughts of cold... but from their loveliness. *S* Wonderful image! *S*

suthern,

I freeze when I am in an air conditioned car or room.  I'd much rather take the snow, thank you. However, this is not to say that I am not ready for summer.  I sure am!

Thank you for reading my poetry.
