Where doth thy heart live, Weaver of Romance?
Is Home within the confines of thy chest?
Oh no, for thus restrained, no room for dance
Nor space to soar and seek a love's new quest.
It knows no binding chains; no rigid form
Contains what roiling simmers 'neath the mask.
Thy heart to fingertips is direct norm
And words thus drawn replete love's draining cask.
As dream romance descends from airy height,
Impassioned love refills afflicted hearts
And casts a crimson glow on dullest light -
Thus stirring passions from the deepest parts:
For thine own heart in satin cloak does rove,
Adorning hearts with amulets of love.

CG! It's been awhile!

"Impassioned love refills afflicted hearts

~ Forgive me, but the line from "Casablanca" just came to mind ~ "Play it again, Sam!" lol

Enjoyed your romantic weaving!

Thank you everyone for replying and your kind words...much appreciated.

It has been rather tough to write lately...hopefully things will get better in the next little while.

Take care.
