there's only one who "truly" knows

my days, my nights,
who I am with, what he's like-
and she says "girl what's wrong with you?
Why don't you just take a hike?"

But he saved me from a fate I face
and will till it's a gift to die,
there's two choices here I see,
jail or a marital lie.

There's no way to make it better now.

I can't go on anymore in Arkansas.
And can't go back to home.

So where I am left to be?
'Cept the silence of this poem.

thank you ladybug, for seeing and understanding me
