Together, yet apart seems our life Busy pilgrims consumed with the journey Ignoring the romance of this night One created somehow just for you and me Given even this one imperfect chance To touch and ignite for us to see Emblazon the memory of this happenstance Wherein lies your soul within me To hold onto each other In infant terms of intimacy Knowing there was never another Blinded to all else that surrounds me Just like you were meant for me We, were meant to be |
