The street dresses itself with the clothes of the million servants
Dressed in blue, dotted ties, rugged, rift jeans,
And long stiletto shoes.

The shadowed beards and dirt clad hats,
Pick the garbage bags off the cracked, corner sidewalks.

The newspaper bins begin rising to the top,
With jaw dropping news and tabloid blues.

While the stores bend their doors,
Light their eyes,
And flood the streets with their merchandise.

A Street of anonymity,
With lives stuffed away in briefcases and violet purses.
The streets familiarity; rests at the stroke of 9, and not a minute after.

Your title had me thinking "Orange" but it has been a long time . . .

I like the surreality I find in this:
"While the stores bend their doors,
Light their eyes,
And flood the streets with their merchandise."

You wrote the hustle and bustle of corporate American.

I enjoyed the true to life visuals through your eyes.

Well done Tomer. Makes me feel the hustle and bustle of the streets.
