She is olives in my mouth.
Ripened and brown purpling,
a kick of the tip boot to south
my sins before me, hurdling
in these rhythms of the run
one and two and three
I'll stretch
and pray my foot won't catch
me down

under thumb or under crown--

she's olives in my mouth
ripened,
with dark good looks
and laughter's sun

washing over me in waves...
the ocean's tides?
they rise both ways

and that is love, incredible
devotion to the surf
and foam:

Awash and glistening, atoned
in the dawn of not alone

and feeling very brave.

She is olives in my mouth
bursting juice of ripening
as the lace cradles my face--
I'm laughing, at my loneliness

and grinning at my grave.

Oh gawd turtle--you sure know how to ruin a mood.

Even when ludes were ludes? They were a combo press of angel dust and oh no...

Not giving out recipes!

*chuckle*

So tell me? Are you like, a sea turtle? (*winks* to sea--or are you a tarapin?)

"and grinning at my grave."

Awesome as usual. Your talent is immense, you know I always thought that.

I am not back "home". There is no more. What is rebuilding back there is a new thing. Hard to describe.
That is a topic for another day.

PK/CG...so much will never be the same, that's true enough. But St. Bernard has produced a people that are such a unique blend of strength and heart. I know you know.

Now excuse me while I pull the curtain closed--

Mah Maree! more luscious than ever m'ladylove.

Thank you for being such beautiful inspiration. (and I can do tricks with olives, yanno) *winks* and laughter

I love you. MUAH
