Locket

In the serenade of March stars
Traveling in goose bumps, Venus sublimates Mars
All is even on the inside
As if glistened morning dew distilled to droplets few
Cling in prism, waiting to be free, sigh gentle euphemism
Captured in the air
Displayed against night’s velvet hours
Light transcending slumbered bowers
Quietness, an empty space to fill
Even on the inside seems so still
Sing to me, sing to me
Caresses of each memory
As gold beneath my touch
A star,
Traveling
My cheek

This is why I had to come back.
To read poems like this here.
Makes me inspired to write.

Your poetry really does it for me, TD.
Your title is such a beautiful compliment to your gift of words.
