The Passion Never Dies

You just can't deny what is deep in your soul
Your heart may be broken, your love may turn cold
And even though you try to lock your mind's door
Your need overtakes you and begs you for more...

It's been a long time since I've answered the call
To write from my heart, and to give it my all
I used to be known here as one of the Sun
But destiny touched me, and I had to run...

But something's been lacking and now I know why
I finally decided to once again try
To put pen to paper, to share of my heart
I know that these words are the way I should start...

So, thank you for listening and opening the door
And this time around I will try to do more
Your words always touch me, in so many ways
And I hope mine touch you, in the passing of days...

!Sunnyone! OMG, I thought you had disappeared forever. Please stay...you have been missed.
I've thought about you many times, hoping you are all right, knowing your road is rocky.
Times are very rough for so many, in so many ways, not just economically.
But you are right, the passion for life must stay alive.

One with the Sun is baaack!!! My goodness, girl, I was beginning to think you fell off the other side of the Atlantic! I am so glad to see that you are back and going to share yourself with us again! You are beautiful within and without!

Giving you a very big, warm, welcome-back hug,

Linda

Good to see you back writing.
This composition in itself speaks well of your heart and desire which you obviously have the talent to refine into poetic beauty.

Take care and go nowhere

Hello Midnightsun...it's so good to talk to you again.  I wasn't sure if anyone would remember me, but good friends stay close no matter how much time goes by.  Thank you for your wonderful welcome home, and for thinking about me...it's good to be back...

Hello Linda, and that hug is so much appreciated.  I did sort of fall off the other side of the Atlantic..my body is still over here, but my heart is home.  I've learned some valuable lessons, the greatest of which is that home is where your friends are.  So, thank you once again...

And thank you Eric.  I need to write and share like I need to breathe.  I've changed a lot, as we all do with time, but one thing I can't change is the absolute love of sharing.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity...

Thank you all,

SunnyH

Sunny - my thoughts of your writings and you as a person are always the same, and will never change. And that is you are just a sweetheart...

Well now "sis" . . . been far too long since our last chat.  I have to admit that you bring us the passion of your heart in this piece as you always did and it is a pure pleasure to treat my eyes to your words again.  I look forward to reading much more of your words so don't be going anywhere.
