She focused on
the star shaped
hot water bottle
and enriched it
with extra powers
like hands of light
and syllables of love.
Prayers rose from
her soul to move
the stars above.
Sharp pine needles
withdrew under
caring strokes.
Cherry blossoms
fell from
her lover’s lips,
clearing her consciousness
from all residues of pain.
Dawn held peace
as their hearts glided
upon a sea
of tranquility.
Blackbird sopranos
announced
the new day
in joyous duets,
anticipating sunrise.
The air vibrated
with divine fullness.
Gratitude thrived
upon their smiles.

~*~

Sometimes, when I come across
a mixture of sound and sight
and sigh
and smile...

I have to quote it.

All of this sounded lovely in my ear
and my heart...

But oh, what I would give
to hear you speak it all.

Wonderful, wonderful.

Yo dear Margherita,

Now I'd say that was some kind of magic hot water bottle.  I haven't had, or used one of those since I was a kid.

Nice work Hon.

Love Bobby

Thank you so much, dear Karilea, for your loving comment ... I did read it and imagined you would listen (in other words I tried to make it sound well, but I fear I am not skilled enough!) It sounded like a prayer in my ears (of gratitude) and that's ok, as it was intended as such.

Thank you, dear Bobby, I didn't use one either for decades, but in these days I have become almost addicted. It does give me a sense of wellbeing, though thanks to God the pain is gone.

Love,
Margherita
