In June of 2007, the Vatican issued a papel decree titled:

"Guidelines For The Pastoral Care Of The Road" (Anapestic)

Now Driving can be an ordeal,
Lord knows there are nuts on the road.
Do Papal decrees at the wheel,
Ensure we"ll get home to abode?

I'll gladly admit I've been frightened
And said holy mother sometimes,
But don't see truck drivers enlightened
By making road rules holy crimes.

I can't see the logic in all this,
The Pope's deemed bad driving a sin.
If God wants to fill-up the abyss
Oil cartels are where to begin...

True enough.

One time the pope came to New York and there was a limosine waiting to pick him up.
The pope said to the driver, "you know, most people don't know that I like to drive. Would you mind sitting in the back and let me drive?"
The driver of the limo thought, 'well, this IS the pope so I'll just go along with him and let him drive.'
So the pope drove from the airport out onto I-95 and started heading south. The pope's foot got quite heavy on the accelerator and he started speeding. After a while a state trooper pulled him over, lights flashing the whole deal.
The cop looked into the drivers seat and there sat the pope, you know the garb, tea warmer hat the whole deal.
The cop was so suprised that he asked the pope to wait a minute. He went back to his car and called his dispatcher.
He said, "I've just pulled over somebody really important!"
Dispatcher replied, "who is it the mayor?"
"No," cop answered.
"Well, is it the senator?"
"No."
"Good God, it isn't the president is it?"
"No, not the president."
The dispatcher bewildered said, "well who can it possibly be!?!"
Cop answered, "I don't know who it is but he's got the pope for a chauffeur!"

Take care

Now can't you just picture some Bishop setting in morning traffic
Somewhere near the Trevi Fountain in downtown Rome......

Waiting for the light to change and over the din of car horns
He hears Guiddo shouting at him MOVE YOUR %^&((^%$$#%^!

Gosh! God needs to do something about this!....lol

I just love irony.

Thanks guys. Yes just a bit of light humor

heh - Angel that is a fake picture to give you humans something to relate to....

Very true words Turtle, you're spot on.
