I have the electric hands,
wanting to provide light.
Push the energy,
into your socket.
Make your bulb,
flicker and glow.

I have the electric touch,
I can make your skin
light up in rows.
I can make you feel
the current
in my body
if you let me

I'll be the magnets
and the armature.
I'll make the energy.
All you have to do,
is allow me the wheels.

No ohms eh?
Aw there must be some resistance that will make the task even more pleasurable.

Great metaphorical delivery. Very intense.

Watch out for that electric torch! She might not be grounded....(smile).......

Just kidding, I'm an electrical contractor that's what I do for a living so I'm having a little fun with this.

I think it's great!

Ethome... Thanks, haha. Yes, I'm sure there are a few ohms every now and again, but once in a while there are feelings of.... ohmlessness.

Yo Paul,

You must be some kind of superconductor, being ohmless and all.

This poem is cold baby cold.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I figured other things out of the comment.

And yes, in that case, it's colder than ice ice ice...

Some people fall in love and touch the sky, some people fall in love and find quicksand.

nice writing, viking.  This poem reminds me of trying to bring a loved one from out of a pit of chronic depression.  Perhaps you had other intent, but this poem was beautiful to me in this way.

Tao... Sort of. More like trying to bring a loved one towards oneself. But I'm glad you got a unique experience out of it.

Wolf... Thanks very much, glad to have a new reader.

This is clearly my most popular write ever! I never would have expected that.

And as an update on Sadie... She's being hot and cold. Who knows.
