Bones is tired,
he’s has a hard overtime
down the chemical plant.

He’s trying to sleep.

The kids are
down stairs,
tearing up,
making noisy fools
of them selves.

It’s late.

The scrubby row’s
trying to sleep.

Bones goes downstairs,
appears in the French Doors.

There’s a sudden,
pregnant silence.

The kids try to run away.

Bones grabs the closest boy,
takes the cat-o-nine-tails
off the wall.

The night is filled
with shrill, hopeless,
screams for mercy.

Bobby

Bobby - goodness, Bones is haven't a mean streak. Come on up here, see the mountains/lakes/rivers, and we'll have a cook out to relax...

Thanks Bill,

The youngest of Bones kids has just turned fourty.  They are all doing great, thank heavens, so Bones is pretty relaxed.

Where are these mountains anyway?  Are they near Philly?  I was born and raised in Altoona, PA.  There are loads of mountains there.

I love cook outs.

There’s a sudden,
pregnant silence.

Now that's a classic line. I love that one.

Bones just has to grab the cat nine tails and he commands a lot of respect.

The kids have to be quiet!

Thanks Eric,

Yes, the cat-o-nine-tails seems to work for Bones.  It's good for keeping order.
