          biding Spring

Here in this grand forest
  realm,
of earth, sky, and water
in deep, intimate ‘one’,
a misty-island moon
  arrives
(mid ancient apparitions
  and time-shifting shadows)
on a snow-blended
  Winter wind,
voicing its antipathic
  challenge
to any foretaste of Spring.

BRRR! Chill Winter winds blow outside, fending off the struggling Spring, matching this poem perfectly.

You take the reader into the here and there of the poem, a most enjoyable experience.

Patience may be one of the Virtues, but I am becoming less virtuos with "the Winter wind,
voicing its antipathic
  challenge
to any foretaste of Spring."

felt like I was walking through forest glades, seeing what my ancestors saw, feeling what they felt...very nicely done
