These words refuse me
like my trembling hands
and voice,
the honour of expressing my thoughts and intentions.

A clear plastic cage
trapping the bombshell, the articulate and witty lie.

I wish I could pen the ambiguous undulations
of pigeons,
or something similarly extraordinary-
my only thoughts are of you,

and they escape me.

pandababy - nice first posting, somewhat sad though, but well written with meaning...

I agree with Bill... and when you see the number of his postings... he really knows what he is talking about.

I like this, because there is something
special about the way a pigeon moves...

and yet it doesn't fill the soul with
words, like love can.

Well done, and so deep....like it!

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
