In the wintry night,
we looked at the stars.
My lips were windburned,
and wanting.

We walked down
imaginary stairs.
I took your arm,
and you took my hand.

You made me feel
(the heartbeat in my head.)
interesting.

You made me feel
(the heartbeat in my head.)
attractive.

You made me feel
(the heartbeat in my head.)
insects with wings.

In the wintry night,
we looked at the stars.
My lips were windburned,
and wanting
of your lips.

Thanks SEA!!

Sadie and I got together over the weekend. We're going to get together again next week, during her college spring break. I'm glad I never stopped writing "The Sadie Series"...

Yo Paul,

This is well carried off.

Just what insects with wings are we talking here?  Huh?

It's good your back with Sadie.

Butterflies? That's my guess, I couldn't tell when they were in my stomach.

Thanks Bobby.

Nicely penned romanticism and with a purity that shows the reality of the feelings in it.  I very much enjoyed.
