Soon EnoughWhen you would no longer be here I would no longer be able to call you That was my greatest fear I promised you I would always be there But, how can I when you pushed me away The tears continue to flow from my eyes And my heart is hurting me so bad today I do not think you really realize Just how much you meant to me Now, I can not even be there for you This pain will never ever let me be I never would have deserted you It is so hard to type through the tears But, some how I have managed Knowing that your time is coming near It was the hope that you gave me And those encouraging words of yours That pushed me to even try, and now Those tears continue to pour There is no reason for me to try There is no hope that I can see The tears continue to fill my eyes And the pain will just not let me be 2-22-09 Oklahoma Rose |

This hurts, dear Sue, but we can be close with our heart, if not physically, to those we want to help. And I am sure your feelings are perceived and appreciated even at distance. Sometimes we need to let the tears flow and soon the waters will calm down after the initial emotional rapids. Trust. Your sensitive generous nature is deeply felt. Margherita, I very very seldom let tears flow. As a rule, I can dry them right up. But, not this time. Thank you for your very caring and kind reply. Mark, sometimes the pain of love seems almost unbearable. This is one of those times. Thank you for your kind reply. Ida, thank you for caring. I wish there was something you could say, too.
