Bones got put down
for so many reasons.

For one thing,
Bones was way good looking,
so everyone told him
how ugly he was.

Then people liked to
denigrate Bones intelligence.

They knew Bones was a bright kid,
so they tied to bring him down,
by telling him how dumb he was.

That worked for a while
when Bones was a kid.

People had him feeling
real bad about himself.

He grew out of that put down crap,
and he never looked back—
no, not for one second.

Bobby

He may not have looked back, but he carried some of that pain.  Glad to know he is good looking - I am a shallow woman who likes to have a crush on a good looking man (grins - Kidding sorta).

Thanks dear SEA,

Yes, people can be mean.  It's good to learn that early as possible, and overlook the meanness.

Thanks dear Alison,

Well, you're in luck with Bones then.  Good looks in the men of Bones family are legendary.  They have strong chins.

Good that Bones grew out of this feeling of being of no value. "Put-down" people are acting out of their own low opinion of themselves and instinctively believe they "increase in value" when they put others down. So wrong!!!

Good reflections, dear Bobby!

Love,
Margherita

Good for Bones.
Glad he never looked back.
He owed them nothing because they were jerks.

Thanks dear Margherita,

Yes, looking back, it was very wrong.  I'm glad I got over it.

Yo Eric,

You are correct.  They were jerks, although some of them developed into good friends.

It's good to see Bones has the right Attitude Bobby by not looking back. Look forward and face the breeze.
