 Spirit Rainbows by Linda L. Dowd May angel love lift spirits high, Above your woes and pain, And sunshine warm a weary heart, And cares be washed by rain. But when the time does truly come, For your return back Home, Your soul will rise thru' Heaven's Gate, Where it is free to roam. An Eden full of Light and Grace, A place of joy and peace, A refuge from the storms of life, A place of sweet release. Music flows from harps of Heaven, Songs sung by angel choirs, Melodies caress one's spirit, As cherubs pluck gold lyres. Floral scents will feed your essence, Each breath will soothe your soul, Gone will be all pains and sorrows, God's Love will make you whole. All colours of His Spirit Rainbows, Will fill you up with Light. Gone will be your days of darkness, And gone will be your nights. May angel love lift spirits high, Above your woes and pain. And sunshine warm a weary heart, And cares be washed by rain. ~ * ~ |

I wanted this to be a refrain so badly that I read it twice before going on with the poem, only to find out that you had indeed rewarded the reader by putting it at the end...like a bonus...nice ..."and cares be washed by rain"... |
