Tomorrow I will go to
Gaze at the Gaza.I have a new dishdasher.Colourful.
Cross-stitched Palestinian style.
I will wear my hair uncovered.Hope it is not too scarlett.
I will dance at a wedding
looking over my shoulder.
Gifts fill my suitcase.
No room for my heels.
McDonalds have sent me soft toys for the children.
A variety of animals.
Various kinds.Australian.
Ex 'Happy Meals'
Individually wrapped in plastic and labelled for
Children
Endangered Species
Take care.
Tomorrow I will dance at a wedding, whirling round and around.
Children. Endangered
species. Take care.
Tomorrow I will dance.Around and around.
Inshallah.
Oh,God.

I liked this poem as far as I understood it. I am not very enlightened about other cultures, I guess. What does inshallah mean? Does the color scarlet have particular signifigance to the culture? Other than my own pitiful lack of understanding, the poem was beautifully worded and quite intriguing.

Dear Tao ( I loved your poem ) and found all your replies that I have read so gentle and encouraging and wise. Thank you.
Inshallah means "God willing" .I am worried about my scarlett hair because most hair there will either be bruinette or covered. I am going to my friend's wedding and then the new bride will come to Australia to begin a new adventure.She and he will live in my house and we will and we will share lifestyles ,religions and cultures.
