There was a dragon with a flagon,
The terror of the land.
The Dragon's plight was to fight,
None could before him stand.

There was a man from distant land,
Who sought to end his reign.
Despite great skill he was weaker still,
Bereaved he fled in pain.

There was a drink that none would think,
Could make the dragon strong.
But in his wine were toxins fine,
That bid his strength prolong.

There was a king with everything,
Until the dragon's brew.
He sought the sum of the flagon's rum,
The contents which were true.

For in the east there was a beast,
The beast it's name was "West."
And though the king sent everything,
The beast would kill his best.

So the Dragon, with the flagon,
Trekked to distant land.
And since his plight, was to fight,
He before the beast did stand.

There was a fight through day and night,
That shook the mountains down.
In the end the beast would bend,
And the Dragon took his crown.

The King he soared and would reward,
But dragon wanted not, but rest.
So with a fame, the King gave name,
"Dragon, Slayer of the West."

Thanks, glad you both liked it.

It was kind of an experiment on my part, so I'm hapy it turned out well.
