Was Just Another Day

I think I've had it
or maybe not:
Another day
of just "forgot".

Too many  years
have passed me by.
Too many fears,
tears of deny.

It matters much
to some, to me.
As special times
they use to be.

Making time
importantly
the most of heart
in wish to see

That specialness,
though aging now.
Once teenaged thoughts,
feels still allow.

No, not just days
another of
importantly
the needs of love.

To hear, to see
the senses of
importantly
to know that love.

Dear Maureen, I know this feeling well, especially on these, day after, days.

A belated Happy Valentines Day to you my dear. Your picture never fails to bring a smile to my day.

We can keep within the heart
days of special thought that past
We can remember these now and today
and hope onces more for a better day
A better day to come again
I know it will
I know it can
Hugs

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

I totally understand this one, Maureen. Yes, it would indeed to feel love. Wouldn't it?

Maureen - to love, to hold, to cherish, all feelings to know. Yet emptyness reines at times, for why I'll never understand. You're very special, and I wish you the best...

Thank you everyone. I did have an exciting Valentine's Day. Though a bit under the weather from "germy" 5 year olds, my freezer decided to give up  on me and I had to spend the rest of the afternoon/evening emptying the freezer, putting  the food in trash bags outside in the snow, buying a new freezer, renting a truck to get it home, getting it into the basement and filling it again...I had  wanted to get one on President's Day so it became my Valentine's present to myself, instead.
