Though our sphere be wracked with grief
As heavens rain their tears
She is a thing that cannot feel
The touch of mortal years.

Sleeping sweetly, dreams of Eden
A thousand lifetimes old,
She shows no sign of time’s cruel hand
Resplendent to behold.

She awaits a blessed time
When man will find his means,
A silent watcher in the dark
I am keeper of her dreams.

Dedicated to Shannon Rose Kelly, my beloved.

Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told.

...a beautiful write...my favorite line:

"She shows no sign of time’s cruel hand
Resplendent to behold"
